Are digital human actors going to take over the big screen? What is the technology behind digital bodies? What is body shape? How can we model it? How can we animate it? This talk an accessible overview of human body shape modeling presented at "Science Notes" in Tübingen. It is designed as a short, entertaining, and informative talk for a general audience with a basic science background. Despite the word "mathematics" in the title, no math background is assumed.
